From Restaurant Daniel to Bar George: A Story That Comes Full Circle

Chefs Kevin Ramasawmy and Hugo Souchet first cooked together in 2013 at New York’s Restaurant Daniel, where shared discipline, technique, and respect for craft sparked a friendship that carried far beyond that kitchen. Since then, Chef Hugo Souchet has spent nearly a decade refining a precise, poetic culinary style under Chef Michel Guérard at the three‑Michelin‑star Les Prés d’Eugénie, while Kevin’s own journey — from Mauritius to Montreal to some of Canada’s most acclaimed kitchens — has shaped the signature he now brings to Bar George.

Now, for two nights only — Thursday, February 26 and Friday, February 27 — the chefs reunite at Bar George for a special Montréal en Lumière collaboration. From 5:30pm each evening, guests will have a rare chance to experience two distinct culinary perspectives coming back together in a setting worthy of their reunion.
